Swimmer is taken to hospital after being bitten by a shark in Perth
A person has been critically injured after being bitten on the leg by a bull shark whereas swimming in Perth‘s Swan River.
The man was attacked on Thursday morning at Blackwall Reach, a preferred swimming space south of Perth recognized for its limestone cliffs.
He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital by way of St John Ambulance with severe accidents to his leg.
Western Australia‘s fisheries division is investigating the assault and mentioned the shark was reported to be two to a few metres lengthy.
A water police vessel is on the scene and other people have been cleared from the water.
